Not very good with this blog lark, am I? An average of less than one post a week, and this is my first for 3 months! I’m far too easily distracted by that strange thing called “real life” ;)
Sooooo …. now that the site has been up for a year, I’m getting itchy fingers to change its appearance, and reduce the blog content and importance (whaddya mean, you never realised it was supposed to be important?!?!) to an “occasional comment/grump/funny bit post when the mood strikes me” thingummy. Odd that, because those who know me in real life will tell you I’m never short of an opinion, or shy of expressing it …. *cough*
I’ve given up on deviantART. I’ll still look at works posted by the good folks in my watch list, but won’t be posting any more and will only comment on work from a handful of people. The constant cockups, consistently inconsistent “management” – not to mention case-book studies in the fine art of being passive/aggressive – and overwhelming influx of teenagers is enough to remind me to polish up my Grumpy Old Woman badge and wear it with pride.
I’ll leave my dA gallery as it stands, at least for the time being, and post any new fractal work here. With luck and a following wind I’ll be putting 4 new pieces up in the Ultrafractal 2 Gallery once I’ve hit ‘publish’ on this post.
Right …I’m off to the pits of hell, otherwise known as deciding on how the new site will look. Don’t hold your breath while waiting for the change ;)
