More the blog variety. I’m really pleased with the new lighter, cleaner look although still planning on doing a little more tweaking.
This WordPress template – Atahualpa - is amazingly versatile and I’ve only just scratched the surface. The guy who coded it also runs a phenomenally helpful forum, so good that even a pretend geek like me (the sort who knows of CSS as opposed to about CSS!) managed to do all the tweaking just by going through the options – rather a lot of options – and the included info & help, and by searching the forum when I got stuck. I thoroughly recommend taking a look at it if you’re looking at new template options yourself.
Spring itself sorta came and went this year, didn’t it? We had great weather in April, yet recently it’s been dull, grey, and with a vicious cold wind a lot of the time. Brrrr! I managed a few very pleasant days out in the warm sunshine – camera at the ready – and some of the results are included in the new gallery I’ve just added. Even better, I’m also beginning to get the hang of my macro lens and a few of the pics I’m pleased with are also in that gallery. Big thumbs up to the wonderfully talented guys who hang out on the Macro Forum at FredMiranda. Their work is inspiring and so many of them are incredibly generous with advice on technique.
Now, if I could only get over my dislike of bugs enough to attempt a few bug photos ……
