TED : a wonderful source of fascinating, thought-provoking, mind-boggling and sometimes very funny presentations. A few I’ve particularly enjoyed lately include a talk by Ron Eglash on African Fractals in buildings and braids; JJ Abram’s Mystery Box; the Photosynth demo; David Gallo on Underwater Astonishments, and a presentation by the photographer Frans Lanting.
